Some days remind you exactly why you started.

My first Carolina Place Mall pop-up was more than just a vendor event. It was an opportunity to introduce Brooklyn Girl Bath Co. to new customers, share my Brooklyn-inspired collections, and watch people experience my products for the very first time.

The Best Part? Listening.

One of my biggest takeaways was how much customers wanted to hear the stories behind the scents. They didn’t just ask, “What does this smell like?” They wanted to know why each collection existed and how Brooklyn inspired every product.

Those conversations reminded me that Brooklyn Girl Bath Co. is more than body care. It’s storytelling through scent.

Customer Favorites

Throughout the day, customers sampled body butters, candles, and room & linen sprays. Some of the most common comments were:

• “The body butter isn’t greasy at all.”

• “I love the names of your scents.”

Watching people smile after trying a product never gets old.

A Few Moments That Stood Out

One customer found a scent he loved but wanted to think about it before buying. About an hour later, he came back and purchased it as a gift for his wife.

Several customers ordered scents that had already sold out, proving that sometimes the right fragrance is worth waiting for.

Those moments reminded me that creating quality products and genuine customer experiences matters.

More Than Sales

Success isn’t measured only by what happens at the register.

It happens when someone connects with your story, trusts your brand, and leaves excited to come back.

It also reminded me how grateful I am for the people who continue to support Brooklyn Girl Bath Co. Whether they stopped by my table, shared my business, placed an order, or simply encouraged me along the way, every bit of support means something.

What’s Next

This event confirmed that Brooklyn Girl Bath Co. is headed in the right direction.

I’m already preparing for the next Carolina Place Mall Pop-Up with even more handcrafted body butters, soy blend candles, room & linen sprays, keepsakes, and new Brooklyn-inspired scents.
